Once again I am amazed how the comparison with food comes in handy to explain concepts that are not exactly trivial: Massimo Russo explains, comparing mortadella and bread to ping servers and blogs, the reasons why a few days ago Dave Winer sold the domain weblogs.com for a couple of million dollars.
A figure that, thrown out there without explanation, could leave one quite astonished...
