Walls of light

This, in fact, is a real topos, for Japan: cities full of lights, building facades that can no longer be seen, hidden behind huge screens, brightly lit signs, colors, animations, writings, flowing words.

Often there is music, hypothetical soundtracks that blend into the noise of the city.

It is one of a thousand contrasts that I happened to observe: futuristic cities chock-full of lights and glittering facades against silent, wildlife-rich, windswept countryside.
