Porta Nuova, Turin, corner porch

There is this portico, on the corner of Porta Nuova in Turin. It is a small warren of columns and now, after years of being enclosed in the cocoons of construction site security, it can finally be seen in full.

In a way it is cosy: I like to cross it sideways and look up at the nine bowl-shaped domes.
