Never thought I would see bamboo in Piedmont. Instead.
Here we are: just by chance we end up, one Sunday afternoon, visiting the castle of Miradolo and its park, a true refreshment for the soul. Tall trees surround and punctuate a large lawn.
We walk past a sequoia, past a hundred-year-old ginkgo biloba, past beech and hornbeam trees to reach, at the end of the park, a grove of giant bamboos. In the middle runs a small irrigation canal.
