Dear aficionados - and not -, just when I was thinking about how I could meet and chat with you about photography, the Centro di Formazione Professionale Cebano Monregalese proposed me to collaborate in setting up a introduction to digital photography course.

So it's done: from 16 23 April, if the minimum number of enrolled students (12) is reached, I will be in Ceva, CN for 6 Mondays to talk about:

• Basic mechanisms of photography: times, diaphragms and sensitivity
• Framing: frame proportions, focus and focal length
• Analogue and digital photography: common elements and peculiarities
• From compact camera to SLR and back, i.e. it's not the camera that makes the quality (almost)
• Processing after the shot, i.e. the human eye can usually do much more than a digital eye
