• Appunti dal Coniglione - Coniglione sull'iPad – Lucida analisi di cosa sarà iPad: «Un futuro in cui il computer non è più l’oggetto totemico, ma l’informatica è ovunque, integrata nella quotidianità. Per le piccole incombenze non esisterà più il rito di sedersi al computer (molti lo provano già con gli smart phone, in piccolo), ma basterà afferrrare il device e interagire. L’informatica, diventando pervasiva, occuperà anche meno tempo vitale (mentre per contro, il concorrennte odierno dell’iPad, ovvero il netbook, per fare tutto richiede più tempo).»

• Why I Believe Printers Were Sent From Hell to Make Us Miserable – Of course printers come from hell! Should I mention the geological era taken to clean printheads? Or the fact that they occasionally print at 105% even if you set 100%? Or the times when the driver decides to print a hundred-pages PDF at a 5%?
